Data on Baltimore City Foreclosure Filings
The Baltimore Neighborhood Indicators Alliance (BNIA) collects information to help educate and inform neighborhood and city wide policy makers about important issues and trends. With suport from the Baltimore Homeownership Preservation Coalition, BNIA started putting foreclosure filings data into neighborhood-oriented formats in 2008. This information is updated quarterly. Foreclosure filing information has been married with interactive maps to make the data user friendly and accessible. It should be noted that foreclosure filings occur about half way through the Maryland foreclosure process. Foreclosures can be prevented in many cases.
