Foreclosure Solutions Forum a Success!
On January 7, close to 200 people attended the Foreclosure Solutions Forum in Annapolis sponsored by the Baltimore Homeownership Preservation Coalition, the Coalition for Homeownership Preservation in Prince George's County, and the Maryland Housing Counselors Network. Housing counselors, realtors, bankers, government officials, and advocates learned about subprime lending and foreclosure trends in Maryland and debated short and long-term solutions to the crisis. The Baltimore Coalition also kicked off its Public Education Campaign to reduce foreclosures in Baltimore City.
